This Web site supports the exploration of systems of interacting control systems, and their adaptation or evolution.The underlying unit is the Perceptual Control System described by W.T.Powers in Behaviour: The Control of Perception, Chicago:Aldine, 1973.
The exploration of interacting control systems does not assume the existence of the hierarchic structure that is the basis of conventional Perceptual Control Theory, but examines the various ways in which interactions may bring about different modular structures, and consequences for different areas of application.
